More than the actual shopping, some people love to spend their time at the store haggling prices. That’s extra true with antique and second-hand stores where there’s usually a lot more wiggle room when it comes to the price.

It looks like this antiques store owner has had enough of those people, though. So, instead of constantly arguing and defending their prices, they decided to put up this sign that will hopefully deter people from haggling while still making them smile.

Taking care of a dog is a big responsibility, and not just when it comes to the dog’s needs. There’s also a social responsibility to make sure your dog doesn’t harm anyone.

Gorge Bridge, over the years, has emerged as a popular hub for extreme selfie fanatics. These bridges however are also a dangerous spot to take pictures as more than twelve people have lost their lives since 2014 while trying to take selfies.

We don’t know who needs to hear this but risking life to take a selfie from a speeding train is nothing, but a dumb move. Taking a selfie like this is an extremely dangerous thing to do.

You can fall off the train’s window easily if you lose balance or worse, you could be hit by another train. In all probability, a selfie like this is not worth it – no matter how beautiful it turns out to be.

Does this selfie make you say Yikes? Because it is definitely making us do that. Taken by Angela Nikolau, this selfie, became one of the most extreme selfies that were ever taken. Considered illegal in many countries such as Singapore, Nikalou is indulging in what is known as rooftopping.

Also known as roofing, this selfie is about taking assisted or unassisted pictures (selfies) on the rooftops, cranes, antennas, and more in order to appear more attractive on Instagram.

Some people can go any heights (quite literally) to take that prized selfie. Like this guy, who is not even a bit scared of that dizzying height! And to make the danger worse, he is not even wearing a shred of protective gear that can protect him from a potential fall.

All it matters to him is how his selfie will turn out, and he seems rather focused on it. Maybe it’s time you should rethink your life goals, Mister?

This selfie was a part of the challenge the Brazilian tourism board gave photographer Lee Thompson. Thompson, in 2014, along with his colleague Oliver Harvey secured special permission from the Brazilian authorities to climb atop the statue of Christ: The Redeemer.

Corrida de Toros (coursing of bulls) is a bullfighting tradition in Spain. Considered to be a blood sport, Corrida de Toros, is also an integral part of Mexican culture. While this game of bullfighting is a spectacle to watch, it is fraught with dangers, too.

This man, however, chose to ignore the danger unfolding behind him as a group of matadors tried to pacify an angry bull. He is busy documenting what’s happening around him without thinking about how he could have become a target, too.

This guy (Alexander Remnev) came all the way up just for a selfie. He also decided to bring two of his pals along. One question though: how did he manage to convince his two friends to accompany him? Our guess is that the guy has a silver tongue and can coax you into anything.

If he ever asks us to join him on his selfie sojourns, we would probably turn away from his offer with a polite no since we actually care about our lives!

It is said that couples who do things together are the happiest ones. Whoever wrote this perhaps didn’t include taking ‘extreme selfies’ in the list of things a couple should do. A pinch of foolishness is acceptable, but this one takes the cake.

Well, Ivan Kuznetsov and Angela Nikolau often team up together for taking extreme selfies atop high-rise structures and buildings. Couple goals? Naah, we don’t think so.

What would be your first instinct if you see fire around you?  A person would normally respond to a stressful situation by either fighting it (dousing the fire in this case), removing themselves from the situation or by freezing out of fear (i.e. remaining clueless about what to do).

These ladies however are dealing with a stressful situation by taking happy selfies. Or wait have they actually placed themselves in the situation knowingly? Who wants to know, anyway? We say – Run!

A lot of people are taking selfies in front of volcanic lava or volcanic eruptions. In 2021, a large number of people were seen taking selfies in front of lava spewing out of Mount Nyiragongo in Congo. This was despite the fact that more than 30 people were hurt.

Dozens of homes were destroyed due to the searing volcanic heat. But at least this man was wearing his protective gear while he was taking that selfie. However, we are not sure how effective his gear would have been in case the lava got too close.

Taking selfies while standing on mountain tops always comes with the risk of falling off. But, these things hardly matter to certain people, who treat such potential dangers with the disdain they would normally reserve for the annoying calls from telemarketing agencies.

The only positive thing about this selfie is that its taker is well-aware of the dangers that come with it. He has captioned this picture as follows: “I don’t usually take selfies, but when I do, they are dangerous.”

Some people are so caught up in getting their selfies right that their attention almost borders on intense meditation. This man’s attention is in fact, so exemplary, that he almost misses out on the fact that the sea lion, he’s gleefully capturing on the camera, is ready to sink his teeth into his flesh.

It looks like this man should have asked the lion’s permission before taking a selfie with him. He should have captured him from a safe distance.

‘I feel alive’ – that’s what this girl’s expression communicates through this (dangerous) selfie. First of all, standing near the cliff is an extremely bad idea.

Second, taking pictures alone in a setting like this is inviting trouble. The picture, no matter, how stunning, is definitely not worth risking your beautiful life for. There are other ways to feel alive, but this is just not one of them.

Horseshoe Bend in Arizona is definitely a great spot for taking pictures, but don’t let the beautiful scenery fool you as there are no railings installed. The place, thus, can be an immense safety hazard, if one is not careful.

This image gives new meaning to the saying “it’s all about the perspective” – as it can be thought of as a stunning shot by some while others may deem it as an extremely dangerous snap.

Well, we don’t mean to state the obvious. But, the couple did end up getting drenched by the furious waves. We hope they had waterproof iPhones.

Not all selfies were created equal. Some are just worse than others in terms of the things you had to go through in order to take them. No, we are not talking about the angles here.

Needless to say, this selfie fails on the safety criteria since it features swarming jellyfish (they sting!). We can only hope this person came back to the surface safely.

Train selfies are a huge problem in certain Asian nations such as India and Bangladesh. Taking a selfie with a speeding train or on a railway track is sort of becoming a local trend in these nations. However, such selfies should be avoided as they can cost one their life.

A selfie with alligators is one of the most dangerous forms of selfie-taking. Though most alligators don’t cause harm to humans unnecessarily, there are certain breeds of alligators that can maul you with their sharp teeth.

In November 2021, a tourist was attacked by a 12 ft. long crocodile in the Philippines while trying to take a selfie with it. So, the moral of the story is that no crocodile or alligator selfie is worth risking your life for.

Alligators can run at the speed of 20 miles per hour, which is more than the average speed of certain species combined. So, be sure that you are able to run faster than 20 miles per hour, next time you take a selfie with an alligator.

As of now, an average healthy human can run at a speed of ten to fifteen miles per hour. We suggest you put on those running shoes and start running!
